On the morning of March 19, 2018, Vice Mayor Xu Guangwen led officials including Weng Weirong from Lishui Municipal Economy and Information Commission and Li Fei, Deputy Director of the Municipal Financial Affairs Office, to Zhejiang Founder Motor Co., Ltd. for a special research visit.

Mayor Xu and his entourage toured the company’s production site and gained in‑depth insights into its industrial layout, talent pool, R&D and innovation. They were deeply impressed by the automated production lines, well‑organized management and corporate culture within the garden‑style factory. After listening to Chairman Zhang Min’s introduction on the development of new‑energy drive assemblies and automotive motors, Vice Mayor Xu expressed his approval and encouraged Chairman Zhang to set a clear goal of building a “10‑billion‑yuan enterprise” by 2025. Meanwhile, he stated that greater efforts would be made to foster and support the company, so that Founder Motor can grow into a leading enterprise in China’s new‑energy drive assembly and automotive motor sector and secure a dominant position in technology and market.
