In 2025, the total output value of China’s micro‑motor industry stood at approximately RMB 290 billion, representing a slight increase over 2024. In terms of output, China produced 16 billion micro‑motors in 2025 against a demand of 14 billion units. Output is projected to rise to 18 billion units in 2026, with the market size reaching RMB 295 billion. The overall industry operating performance grew by roughly 3%‑5% compared with 2024. Individual enterprises reported mixed results, with growth prevailing.

In respect of product and technology trends, frame‑less torque motors, servo motors, brushless motors and core‑less motors posted robust growth, largely driven by the robotics industry — especially motors for embodied robot joints — and the development of the low‑altitude economy, with major breakthroughs achieved in both technology and production scale. The market size for core‑less motors was estimated at RMB 3 billion in 2025. Among manufacturers, Jinyuan Electromechanical, Wanzhida Motor and Shuanghuan Quanxin Electromechanical saw notable progress primarily in frame‑less torque motors, while Moons’ Electric, Jiangsu Leili and Weichuang Motor achieved substantial growth. For reducers, high‑quality enterprises including Ningbo Zhongda Leader, Nantong Zhenkang, Dongzheng Motor and Suzhou GreenDrive registered over 10% year‑on‑year growth within the year. A number of national‑level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative “Little Giant” enterprises have emerged among association member firms, such as Zhongte Technology, Qingdao Aipu, Xingte Technology and Dongzheng Motor.

By application sector, consumer electronics and household appliances constitute the major downstream markets for micro‑motors, accounting for 29% and 26% respectively; automotive electronics accounts for 13%; weapons, aviation, agriculture, textile, medical and packaging sectors together take 20%; image processing, industrial control and other fields make up the remaining smaller share. As for growth trends, the micro‑motor industry is advancing toward intelligence, miniaturization and high energy‑saving efficiency. Emerging sectors including new‑energy vehicles, robots and smart homes have become key growth drivers.
