On May 30, Wang Jian, Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Former Deputy Director‑General of the Provincial Department of Commerce, led a team to visit Founder Motor. The visit aimed to implement the spirit of the national teleconference on stabilizing the overall economy, listen to the enterprise’s voices, and promote the effective implementation of various economic‑stabilizing measures. Chen Lei, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone, took part in the activity.

Wang Jian and his entourage toured Founder Motor Power Valley Future Factory, Founder Intelligent Drive Research Institute, the new‑energy motor production lines and the corporate exhibition hall successively, before holding a symposium. Dr. Niu Mingkui, General Manager of Founder Motor, and Li Hong, Vice President of the New‑Energy Electric Drive Division of Founder Motor as well as General Manager of Zhejiang Starship Industrial Development Co., Ltd., gave a detailed briefing on the enterprise’s development plans, project construction, production and operation, scientific and technological innovation and other relevant aspects.

The research group spoke highly of Founder Motor’s production technologies, scientific‑technological innovation and project construction. It stressed that stabilizing industrial platforms holds the key to economic stability, and stable industrial and supply chains are vital for sound platforms. The essence of the “chain‑chief system” for industrial chains lies in how local governments can better serve enterprises and industrial chains in the post‑pandemic era. Local governments shall fully recognize the significance of the “chain‑chief system”. Taking the system as an important starting point, they shall strengthen supporting services, optimize resource allocation, tackle difficulties confronting enterprises, boost coordinated development of industrial chains, and accelerate the building of a modern industrial system. Enterprises should actively integrate into industrial chains, enhance internal capabilities and foster competitive advantages. “Chain‑leader” enterprises shall give full play to their leading role, improve the competitiveness of the whole industrial chain, and work together with local governments to advance coordinated industrial‑chain development.
