Founder Motor Signs Strategic Partnership Agreement with Xpeng Motors

Recently, Zhejiang Founder Motor Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Xpeng Motors Technology Co., Ltd. held a grand signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation framework agreement at Founder Motor’s Shanghai Research Institute, marking the establishment of comprehensive strategic cooperation between both parties in the field of new‑energy motor drive.

Xpeng Motors is an automotive technology company focusing on future mobility, as well as a leading Chinese smart electric vehicle enterprise. The company and its subsidiaries are mainly engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of smart electric vehicles. Having maintained long‑term cooperation with Xpeng Motors on drive motors, Founder Motor is one of the key core suppliers of Xpeng’s electric drive systems. By May 2023, it had delivered more than 160,000 sets of products to Xpeng.

The signing of this comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement represents further deepening and upgrading based on the existing sound partnership. Both sides will carry out extended cooperation on new technologies and link up supply and demand. Through this powerful alliance, they will build a long‑term strategic partnership to achieve mutual benefit and win‑win results. Giving full play to their respective resource advantages and relying on advanced drive motor technologies, Founder Motor and Xpeng Motors will build a highly‑collaborative drive motor supply system, boost innovation capacity and R&D efficiency, deliver a more pleasant mobility experience for smart EV users, and contribute to enhancing the global competitiveness of China’s new‑energy vehicle industry.
