On the afternoon of January 29, 2021, Shanghai Haineng Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Haineng Automotive Electronics) held its 2020 Year‑end Summary and Commendation Conference. Zou Jiansheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager of CRRC Urban Transportation Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Shanghai Haineng Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., Dr. Niu Mingkui, General Manager of Founder Motor and President of the New‑Energy Electric Drive Division, Xu Huayue, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Founder Motor, and Zhu Keqing, Executive Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Haineng, attended the conference.

The conference was presided over by Fan Qiqi, Administrative Deputy General Manager of Haineng Automotive Electronics. Each project head summarized project deliverables respectively. Zhu Keqing, Executive Deputy General Manager of Haineng Automotive Electronics, delivered the year‑end review for 2020 and the work outlook for 2021. He analyzed and summarized major products and market performance in 2020, elaborated on new products, new projects and new business directions, and put forward the business philosophy of “two orientations and four priorities”. The company will resolutely implement the instructions from higher‑level authorities, maintain stable performance of existing product lines, strive for sales breakthroughs for new products, take solid steps and strive for new achievements.

Such achievements stem from the joint hard‑work of all Haineng staff. The conference commended outstanding new employees, production pacesetters and outstanding employees of the year. Special awards were presented to long‑tenured staff who have grown together with the company and individuals with outstanding contributions, in recognition of their years of standing together with the company through ups and downs. Their dedication underpins the stable and rapid corporate development and enhances corporate cohesion and solidarity.

Finally, Chairman Zou Jiansheng delivered an important speech at the summary meeting. He affirmed that Haineng Automotive Electronics is an excellent enterprise. For the challenging year of 2020, he recognized Haineng employees for staying true to their original aspiration, responding calmly to challenges, pursuing innovation and attaining solid achievements. CRRC Urban Transportation is a new‑industry investment and operation platform under the CRRC Group. It has integrated multiple industries including elevators, commercial vehicles, special‑purpose vehicles, agricultural machinery, environmental‑protection technology and smart logistics. In the future, leveraging the CRRC Urban Transportation platform, Haineng will pursue internal collaborative resources through linkage with related business segments to expand product markets. He expressed firm confidence in the integration of upstream and downstream industries and high expectations for the growth and strength of domestic industries. He hoped that all staff would forge ahead together in 2021 with clear strategies, translate more R&D capacity into tangible technical outcomes, consolidate foundations and shore up weaknesses, give full play to competitive strengths, build home‑grown Chinese brands, and stay committed to independent innovation.
